A residential weekend of Sacred Circle Dancing to celebrate the resurgence of Life, at the Spring Equinox. Spring Equinox is a magical time of balance, when day and night are equal in length. It is an ancient festival, a mid-point between the Celtic festivals of Imbolc and Beltane, hence the mid-point of Spring. Traditionally it is a time for planting seeds, both literally and metaphorically. A time of new beginnings .......
In an idyllic rural setting, come to share a joyful weekend of dance, music, simple ritual and community. Some experience of circle dance will be required. |

Holycombe A
timeless and magical place: Holycombe House is situated in a peaceful
corner of the Cotswolds near the village of Whichford. Set in a lush wooded
valley on the site of a Norman Castle, Holycombe overlooks a pond fed
by a stream which rises from a holy well nearby. Across a meadow is the
ancient Whichford Wood with many rare species of trees and plants. There
is an abundance of wild flowers blooming in the Spring. It is certainly
the perfect place to celebrate Spring, and Be with Nature. |

Accommodation
The group will be staying in the main House, the Lodge or the Studio, mostly in shared rooms. The most comfortable rooms will be allocated on a first booking basis. There is a small kitchen for the group's use. Evening meals on Friday and Saturday will be provided and included in the cost. All other meals will be provided by the group with everyone bringing food to share. Food preparation and clearing away will be coordinated and the intention is to keep the meals simple to enable more time for dancing. |

Cost (including evening meals) :- These
are Early Bird prices which apply if your deposit is paid by January
18th 2005. The price in brackets is for Late Birds, if your deposit
reaches me after this date. Deposit :- Please send a £40 deposit which is non-returnable unless the event is cancelled. Final Payment :- Is due by March 1st 2005 Please send payments made payable to Hazel Young. |
