A residential weekend of Sacred Circle Dancing to explore the archetypal symbols of the Tarot through dance. Focussing on the major arcana, we will follow the journey of the Fool on a spiral path towards enlightenment. In the safe environment of Holycombe we can also compare the messages of the Tarot with our own path through Life to gain more understanding of our own journey.
In an idyllic rural setting, come to share a joyful and enlightening weekend of dance, Tarot, music, simple ritual and community. Some experience of circle dance is required, and some knowledge of the Tarot will also help, although it's not essential. |

Holycombe A timeless
and magical place: Holycombe House is situated in a peaceful corner of
the Cotswolds near the village of Whichford. Set in a lush wooded valley
on the site of a Norman Castle, Holycombe overlooks a pond fed by a stream
which rises from a holy well nearby. Across a meadow is the ancient Whichford
Wood with many rare species of trees and plants. | ||

We will dance in the "Angel Room" which opens out onto the terrace. If the weather is kind .... |

Accommodation
The group will be staying in the main House, the Lodge or the Studio, mostly in shared rooms. The most comfortable rooms will be allocated on a first booking basis. There is a small kitchen for the group's use. Main meals will be provided and included in the cost. Breakfast however will be on a bring your own basis. Washing-up and clearing away will be shared on a rota system and the intention is to keep the meals simple to enable more time for dancing. |

Cost (including main meals) :- These are Early Bird prices which apply if your deposit is paid by
August 1st 2006. The price in brackets is for Late Birds, if your deposit

Hazel Young Hazel has been teaching Sacred Circle Dance for 14 years. She has a great passion for folk dance (particularly Greek Dance) together with a love of more meditative and contemporary circle dances. She is endlessly inspired by music, has an International reputation as a choreographer and is also a versatile musician. Her dance events always explore the full and rich diversity of the circle dance repertoire. |
